Rug Hooking Magazine Releases Hooked on Celtic Rugs

October 25 , 2017

Northbrook, IL—Rug Hooking magazine and Ampry Publishing are proud to present their latest book release, Hooked on Celtic Rugs: A Fresh Approach to Celtic Art in Rug Hooking. Written by Celtic rug expert, Gail Lambert, the book walks through each step in creating your own Celtic rug, from concept and design to color planning and hooking. Lambert offers tips and techniques along the way on how to decipher and untangle a pattern, how to approach adding in the complex details, and the perfect way to finish the hooked piece.

Hooked on Celtic Rugs offers design tips for letters, animals, Celtic knots, and much more. Acclaimed designer, David Rankine, has also included a gallery of 12 designs that rug hookers can use to start their own Celtic rug project.

Hooked on Celtic Rugs is available now for book club subscribers. It is also available for pre-order on Amazon and will be released on November 1, 2017.

Rug Hooking magazine produces four books per year. They most recently released Celebration of Hand-Hooked Rugs 27 on September 1, 2017. The Color Lab will be released in February 2018.
