Rug Hooking Magazine Releases Rug Hooking Through the Year
November 01 , 2018Northbrook, IL—Rug Hooking magazine and Ampry Publishing released its latest book, Rug Hooking Through the Year, on November 1, 2018. The book features the best seasonal articles throughout Rug Hooking magazine’s tenure and some nostalgic favorites from Joan Moshimer’s newsletter, Rug Hooker’s News and Views, the predecessor to Rug Hooking magazine.
The book is divided into four sections, each representing one of the seasons, with step-by-step instructions for a variety of seasonal patterns from a wide range of designers. The patterns range from the unique and quirky, like Ellen Banker’s Royal Order of the Radish, to tried-and-true classics, like Joan Moshimer’s Old Apple Tree. The back of the book contains helpful guidelines for beginners on how to start and finish rugs along with a list of resources for further study.
Rug Hooking magazine releases four books per year. It most recently published its annual publication, Celebration 28, in September.
