Rug Hooking Magazine Publishes Hooked Rug Designs for Baby & Beyond
June 01 , 2019Northbrook, IL—Rug Hooking Magazine and Ampry Publishing, LLC released its latest book, Hooked Rug Designs for Baby & Beyond: Inspiration for a Family Heirloom by Norma Batastini, on June 1, 2019. The book covers a wide range of rugs that someone might hook for a child or teenager, covering topics such as nursery rhymes, religion, games, art, graduation, and more. The book also contains 11 original patterns that can be used or adapted for any rug hooker’s project.
Norma Batastini is a nationally known teacher of rug hooking and rug designs. Her teaching base is in northern New Jersey though she also teaches workshops around the country. She is the director of Rugs by the Sea in Cape May, New Jersey, and owns Heart in Hand Rug Hooking, a pattern and wool supply business. She is also on the editorial board for Rug Hooking Magazine.
Rug Hooking Magazine releases four books per year. It most recently published Rug Hooking Journeys in February.
