  • DEMONSTRATION: 40 Spots for 40 Years, Part One – Lori Corbett carves a forty-spotted pardalote in honor of Wildfowl Carving Magazine’s milestone anniversary. Her pattern of the species will help other carvers get started on this project.

  • DEMONSTRATION: The Turtleback Harlequin, Part One – Keith Hendrickson introduces a fresh take on harlequin ducks by carving one with the Upper-Chesapeake treatment. He provides a pattern to guide carvers in replicating this new approach.

  • CLASS NOTES: Green-Winged Teal Drake – Rich Smoker shares his pattern and notes for the creation of a sleek, bullet-fast gunning decoy for hunting and display.

Also in this issue, the “Reader Showcase” highlights the work of up-and-coming carvers.
